Nestled in the heart of the Scottish Highlands, Cocoa Bothy takes inspiration from its rugged surroundings and its namesake — a bothy, a simple rural shelter offering warmth, comfort, and rest. That’s exactly what we aim to create: chocolate that feels like a hug in bar form.
Whether you’re curled up on the sofa, savouring some “me time,” or sharing a surprising new flavour with your work bestie, Cocoa Bothy is your edible escape - one square at a time.
Behind the bothy…
Chocolate is my happy place. If you know me, you’ll know I’m obsessed with baking, making, and enjoying the sweeter side of life - preferably surrounded by friends, family, or a really good box set.
I wanted to create bars that felt bold, indulgent, and a little bit mischievous. Delicate chocolates have their moment, sure - but these bars? They’re chunky, crave-worthy, and made to be broken (into big pieces). Think less “after-dinner mint,” more “midday mood-lifter.” No judgment here. 🍫😉

Obsessive over all things sweet and delicious, if you know me, you’ll know that I absolutely love baking, making and chilling with friends and family. I’ve crafted these new bars that absolutely too good not to shout about.
Delicate chocolates have their moments; however, I prefer swapping the polite bitesize after dinner truffles for chunky bars. Indulgent. Selfish. Something you can devour at midday without judgement (from us anyway!)
Releases…
By day, I’m a full-time marketer. By night (and weekend), I’m crafting small batches of ridiculously delicious chocolate, each one going through rigorous taste testing by a trusted panel of friends, family, and yes - a few professional chocoholics.
As such, releases can be expected weekly on Sundays at 10am... keep an eye on socials for the latest drop! These boxes sell quick and releases are very limited so set your alarms and place your order.
